Many small businesses and independent contractors may be eligible for a PPP loan. This can be your first PPP loan or if you have received a previous PPP loan you may qualify for a 2nd Draw. As defined in the first round of PPP loans, eligible small businesses may include:

  • Sole proprietors, self-employed individuals or independent contractors.
  • Small businesses, nonprofit organizations, veterans organizations, Tribal business concerns, and small agricultural cooperatives that meet the SBA size standards. 
  • New to the eligibility list: Certain news organizations, destination marketing organizations, housing cooperatives, and 501(c)(6) nonprofits may now also be eligible.
